Believer Kids Keyboard Program (Level IV) is an essential module that prepares you for the advanced techniques covered in the Believer Keyboard Program – AWDI.
The moving melodic song introductions and syncopated rhythms will fuel you with newfound confidence. You will also learn to create FLOW with your instrument for group settings as you complete this indispensable module.
The thematic focus of this second installment of THE HEART OF YAHWEH (Part II) releases us to love one another the way we should.

Rhythm Synergy: Perfect your rhythmic feel as you build upon the rhythms learnt in the previous levels; Learn to apply the various rhythms appropriately to express both intimacy and intensity
Duration: 9-week module; 45 minutes weekly
Chord Progression Immersion: Discover the power of expanded chord progressions and learn to use them meaningfully in various setting
Melody Integration: Learn to play melodic phrases and fills and integrate them into your chords and rhythms

The program has been specifically designed to impact the rising generation of kids. It presents a fun and inspiring way for children to learn to play the keyboard, minus the pressure of music grade examinations.
Classes are taught in groups of 4 to 6 in 45 min sessions for children aged between 7 to 12. Electronic keyboards are used for it's playing ease over acoustic pianos. The many sounds and features on electronic keyboards will also help maintain the child’s interest.
Is my child eligible for this program?
He/She is eligible for this module if he/she has:
i) Completed Believer Kids Keyboard Program (Level III)
ii) Possess some amount of classical piano training (Grades 5-7) but wish to focus on contemporary keyboard playing
*Should you have prior playing experience, use the Online Course Allocator to identify the module most suitable for you.
NOTE: Should Believer Music Coaches find any student mismatched in any particular module, we reserve the right to transfer the student to another class after the first session to optimize the learning experience.
Is there an age limit?
We only accept registrations from ages 7 -12. We will channel students to classes of compatible age groups whenever possible.
What will be covered during the 9 weeks?
Our main objective is to equip your child to play confidently on the keyboard. BKKP Level lV aims to deepen their personal devotion with God through effective techniques for building intensity and momentum in worship. We will introduce students to identifying melodies and learning how to integrate them into the accompaniment.
Why are there no exams for your courses?
The Believer Kids Keyboard Program has been designed as a light-hearted, pressure-free environment for children to learn in. Keyboard students normally do not take music grade examinations. However, we do adopt methods of providing incentives and targets to keep students motivated right up till the advance courses.
Are we (parents) allowed to sit into the classes?
In the desire to create a more independent learning environment for your child, parents are not allowed to sit in with the class.
How can I help my child to enjoy the lessons?
1. Ensure the child has time for practice sessions.
2. Encourage your child as much as possible. (E.g. sing and worship along with them as they play)
3. Avoid negative criticism.
4. Make sure your child knows that you consider learning music a commitment.
5. Enrich their worship lives with worship CDs etc.
