What is BMTC?
Believer Music Theory Clinic (BMTC) - Primer is an introductory course specially designed to equip learners with a basic understanding of the language of music. By the end of 3 sessions, expect to be equipped with the fundamentals of musical theory and improve your musical literacy, relating back to making music on your instrument.

Who is BMTC for?
Anyone with a keen interest in understanding music and how it works, ages 13 and up. No prior experience is required.
I have no music background. Can I still attend?
Yes, you can. Music, like any other language, can be learned from scratch. Join in the fun!
I’m a slow learner, can I still join?
Yes, you can. BMTC’s learning material are like building blocks - you will learn concepts one at a time, with new concepts built on the previous ones. In addition, BMTC coaches will always be ready to guide you, whenever you require help.
I have some knowledge of music theory. How will I benefit?
BMTC Primer is designed for learners with no prior knowledge of music theory. Please contact us directly at

Will learning materials be provided?
Yes, digitized learning materials will be provided to you before course commencement. Please check your email for details.
Do I need an instrument to attend BMTC?
No, an instrument is not needed to attend BMTC. As a theory course, the concepts taught are academic in nature and thus do not require the use of an instrument. Instead, you will be guided to use a piano app on your mobile phone / tablet for an optimal learning environment in class.
