'This Is Home' is a 90-minute beginner-friendly music workshop designed to bring Singapore’s spirit to life through the iconic National Day song “Home” by Kit Chan. Guided by experienced facilitators, participants will learn fundamental guitar and cajón techniques before uniting in a joyful group performance. No prior experience is required — all instruments are provided.

This workshop is perfect for anyone curious about music and community engagement — including beginners, youths, seniors, and individuals from underserved backgrounds.

Do I need any prior music experience?
No. The session is fully beginner-friendly and guided step by step.

What instruments will I be learning?
Participants will learn basic guitar and cajon techniques.

How long is the workshop?
The workshop runs for 90 minutes.

Will instruments be provided?
Yes. All guitars & cajons are provided during the session.

What will I achieve by the end of the workshop?
You will learn foundational musical skills and experience the joy of performing together as a group, while reflecting on Singapore's shared heritage through music.

How do I claim and use my SG Culture Pass credits?
SG Culture Pass Credits can be accessed and utilized from 1 September 2025.
1) Visit the SG Culture Pass Website: https://www.sgculturepass.gov.sg/

2) Log in with your Singpass to verify your profile.
3) Upon successful verification, you will be able to use the credits on eligible arts and heritage events.

How do I use my SG Culture Pass credits to offset this workshop?

1) You will be directed to Sistics (Believer Music's official ticketing partner) to select your ticket: https://www.sistic.com.sg/events/lite_believermusicguitarcajon0256
2) Once you are ready to check out, select SG Culture Pass credits from the list of payment methods.
3) You will be redirected to log in using Singpass. Once successful, you will be brought back to the payment page to complete your payment.
4) If you do not have sufficient credits to cover the full cost of the payment, you will be required to pay the balance using other payment methods.
5) Once the payment is completed and successful, the credits will be deducted from your account.
6) You may check your transaction history and balance on the SG Culture Pass website.

Can I choose how much SG Culture Pass credits to utilize for my purchase?
If SG Culture Pass credits is selected as the payment method, the event price must be fully paid with SG Culture Pass credits in the first instance. Top ups using other methods are only available if the event price exceeds your available SG Culture Pass credits.

Can I combine SG Culture Pass credits with others to make a purchase?

No, your SG Culture Pass credits cannot be pooled or combined with another individual's credits for ticket purchases, as the credits are tied to your individual Singpass account.

Can I use my SG Culture Pass credits to buy this workshop for my friends & family?

Yes, you can use your SG Culture pass credits to purchase this workshop and share it with your friends & family.
