This grade introduces you to advanced music theory fundamentals that will enhance your understanding of music like never before. Be equipped for an optional Trinity Grade 4 exam with additional clinic sessions to prepare you for certification.

WHAT WILL I LEARN?
✔️ How to identify and write a wider pitch range on treble and bass staves
✔️ How to write sequences, major/minor scales, arpeggios, broken chords, intervals and triads up to two sharps and flats, as well as simple and compound time signatures
✔️ Discuss the functions of tonic chords in a given key and chord progressions
✔️ Identify the key of a song, perfect cadences, discuss musical sequences and motions
✔️ Transposition up or down over octaves
✔️ Knowledge application with writing/correction of bars, piece analysis
Music Theory: Discuss the fundamentals of theory & its application
Scales: Familiarize with various drills with a contemporary approach
Notation: Demonstrate the reading & writing of music notation in a revolutionary way
