After establishing basics of the Harp in the Beginner module, the Worship Dynamics series will expand and develop your range of playing techniques.
Worship Dynamics I (WDI) will ground you with mastering the use of more intricate strumming patterns and chord progressions which will set you on a path of greater freedom in playing different keys and expression.
The thematic focus on THE HOUSE OF YAHWEH offers an experience in walking through and surveying the symbolic artifacts within God's tabernacle.
Thematic Devotion:Approaching God through the divine architecture and symbolism of His tabernacle.
Introduction: Major Scales, glissando
Rhythm: Perfect your rhythmic feel as you build upon the rhythms learnt in Beginner module; Learn to apply the various rhythms appropriately to express both intimacy and intensity
Harmony: Chord work for both left & right hands
Song Application & Techniques: Play up to 7 familiar praise & worship songs

I approached the Harp with a lot of apprehension as I am already taking the Keyboard program. I wasn't sure if I would be able to handle 2 instruments and 2 classes per week. Thank God, it wasn't as tough as I thought it was going to be, as my coach is always friendly, approachable and encouraging; whatever I didn't understand is usually resolved in class. Thank God for the desire to want to play and practice, as that is something that keeps me going. Most of all, it’s beautiful when you start to improve and you find yourself being able to immerse in the presence of God as you play.

Who should sign up for this module? Am I eligible to sign up?
You are eligible for this module if you have:
i) Successfully completed the Beginner module OR
ii) 2 years of harp playing experience. You must also be able to change chords smoothly and possess a firm picking rhythm.
NOTE: Should Believer Music Coaches find any student mismatched in any particular module, we reserve the right to transfer the student to another class after the first session to optimize the learning experience.
