I am so happy that I chose Believer Music for my drum program. I had the opportunity to learn the basic steps and am able to play some songs by the end of my first drum program. I would like to thank my coach for being so patient and teaching me all the basics. He is always there to correct me and his style of teaching is amazing. He is a blessing to many people like me. Hi, I’m at the Primer level, and because I am completely new to drumming, I learnt much during the 11-week module. More importantly, the lesson is injected with careful, curated scriptural inspiration that I receive weekly through the coach, besides the printed materials. This is a powerful way of bringing myself to God in the learning of worship drumming. I am still wrestling with the basics while enjoying it. I will want to pick it up again in July. Finally, I would like to thank Believer Music for giving me a free module to start off this interest.

Back in 2017, there was a sudden need of drummers at the church I am serving. As I've always dreamt to be able to play the drums, I saw it as an opportunity to pick up this instrument. However, being in my late 30s, I wasn't sure if I would make it. So I decided to sign up for the XPTrial Program to see if I was really up for it. After the first lesson, I felt so liberated being able to play a simple rhythm! I could only wish I had learned drums earlier! Before I knew it, 1 year 8 months has passed and I completed my last lesson in AWDIV yesterday. It was a bittersweet moment bidding goodbye to my classmates and Coach, knowing we won't be seeing each other at the same time, the same place next week onwards. Nonetheless, with the friendship we have forged with one another, we know we will definitely meet up again. Our coach was very dedicated in his teaching. He understood well the strengths and weaknesses of his students and was able to creatively adjust the lessons to cater to the needs of individuals. He was also inspiring and encouraging and because of that, I was able to step forward and start serving in my church's worship band as a drummer, even though I had barely started classes for the WDII module. One thing that sets Believer Music apart from other music schools is the sharing sessions and the studying of God's Word at the end of each lesson. It played a big part in helping me seek the Lord deeper and in understanding my calling/given purpose in life. Now that I am done with the Drums program, I'm looking at exploring other instruments. And I will not hesitate recommending Believer Music to anyone who wants to pick up an instrument and wanting to find a deeper meaning to life.

I nearly missed out on the Believer Drum Program for this term. Thank God I didn't! To cut the long story short, I had actually signed up for Contemporary Drums Level 2 but couldn't get the timeslot I wanted. I searched for alternatives but still couldn't find something that worked for me. In the end, I was kind of resigned and was prepping myself mentally to give up learning for this term and get a refund instead. Thank God for a front counter staff, who asked if I wanted to try the Believer Drum Program for the Sunday 3.30pm slot. He convinced me by assuring that the techniques taught would be the same, just that the songs would be different. After some rearrangements done to my schedule, I was able to sign up for it. Yay! I must admit I had some reservations in going for the Believer Drum Program at first, as my interest in playing drums did not stem from a desire to worship God through drumming. However, playing worship songs on the drums has a strong ministering effect. I did not expect the Believer Drum Program to actually ignite my interest in playing worship songs on the drums. During the course of my learning, I found myself wanting to worship God more and wanting to explore more Christian songs that I can play on the drums. I must say that through prolonged exposure to the songs, I have a greater appreciation of musicianship in a worship setting and it has also helped me in worshipping God in a deeper manner. I love learning and playing all the new rhythms! It is so much fun and so exciting when you master a new beat. It's also fun when I am able to identify the same rhythm in other songs and apply them across each other. My drum instructor is very attentive as he teaches, giving personalised attention when you cannot grasp a new beat. He makes sure that everyone in class is able to play and always checks on each individual. His explanations and breakdown of the rhythms does make learning a lot easier. I am already looking forward to the next term! :) Thank you, Believer Music!

I had little knowledge about different beats eg, half fast groove, as well as having a limited amount of fills. I would like to thank my Drum Coach for helping me to understand more about drums as well as learn more about God along the way. The term has been a good time of my life!

I completed the Believer Drum Program (BDP) a year ago so this is a bit late but moving on to the point, I don't know why but Believer Music always have had this thing that propels learners to want to come for lessons. Thinking back, I had to travel all the way to Singpost at Paya Lebar for drum lessons even though i stay in the west because One Commonwealth doesn't have a drum studio. I never felt tired of travelling on the peak hour train although it meant standing for 45 mins or so. The coach was very encouraging and cared and made sure that every student will leave the class knowing how to play. Fast forward, June 2016, I graduated from the BDP and joined my Church's Worship Team as a Drummer. After a few months I joined the Believer Guitar Program as I just couldn't stand the 'What Now?' feeling after graduating from the BDP. Another 9 months passed and I joined the Believer Cajon Program. People ask me, "Why a Thursday right after CCA?" I didn't have an answer until the first class. It recharged me to complete the week after 4 days of tiring and long school hours. Moving forward, I would like to encourage everyone no matter if you have music background or not to join Believer Music if u want to pick up a new skill as the levels are crafted such that everyone can understand and master. I would like to also thank the coaches that has brought me thus far in my musical journey with Believer Music. To God be the Glory! P.s. Once you start the lessons u can't stop :)

I really enjoyed the time spent learning the drums in Believer Music. I have been playing the drums for a period of time but I felt that I had gone into a rut. The levels in the Believer Drum Program are structured in a way that caters to your playing experience. I started with Advanced Worship Dynamics I, and I had not looked back since. Through the Lesson Discount Promo, I was able to get good value from the patient instruction of our drum coach, and with it a full-on experience with God through playing music that engages you with God's presence, coupled with good teaching on the biblical perspective of worship as we journeyed together with Israel and the early Church. I highly recommend the drum program by Believer Music as it developed in me a deeper appreciation of the bible narrative and as they say "the Heartbeat of Heaven!"

My Trinity Christian Centre church mate and I signed up together for Drums XP Trial and we were most blessed for the opportunity to discover the ability to worship God through rhythmic playing on the drums. Through patient and meticulous guidance under our respective drum coaches, we found that drumming could draw us into deeper worship in a more innovative way. Though we are taught specific rhythm styles for starters, when we immerse ourselves in worship, playing the drum allows us to worship God even more creatively as it comes with more than 50 different voices and styles. We are so inspired by our coaches that we will be signing up for classes after our vacation. Praise God for the chance to learn how to worship through the XP Trial and to know that even girls have the opportunity in learning drums.

It has been a fruitful journey learning drums till the last module! :) The lessons have been enriching for me and now, I am able to play a piece of music with some level of confidence. Where I avail myself, God provides. I am grateful for God's provision to play in a small band setting for worship. I realize I could do so at a reasonable level although there is so much more to fine-tune when playing in a band. I hope to eventually play for church in a bigger setting. The final 2 modules really helped me learn improvisations in playing, though there is still much for me to improve in this area through listening, observing and applying creatively. I thank my coaches for imparting their skills and knowledge to us. Keep investing in your talents so others will use them for God's glory as well! To all Believer Music students, I encourage you to give the Drum Program a try! :) Lastly, I thank God for the friendships I have forged in my class while learning and receiving support in this community.

My drum coach is really kind and is very patient in teaching all of us. I have also made many nice friends at Believer Music. The staff are very friendly too, going out of the way to greet everyone that comes into the shop for lessons or to buy things. :)
