20 years ago while we were still dating, my husband and I decided to take up Believer Music's guitar programme. 20 years later and married with teenage children, we decided it would be nice to date-through-courses again! So we're back for refresher classes with Believer Music, and enjoying the time of learning through worship. We look forward to each week's class as time specially set aside for each other and for God as we revisit familiar songs, pick up new skills, and enjoy a time of Christian fellowship with other fellow believers.

It is amazing that I can journey to the end of WD2. I have no musical background though I did make an attempt at learning guitar myself many years ago. Credit must be given to a supportive and competent Coach, who understands the challenges we face and shows us ways to overcome them. My coach is a really good instructor. He uses very simple analogies/mnemonics to help us learn; he is clear with his instructions and very experienced! For someone with no sense of rhythm and no musical talent like me, I've found that I'm able to learn in his class well. Besides that, he is intentional in sharing spiritual truths and patiently answers our questions regarding faith. I've not just been uplifted with music, but also the caring and fun Christian community in my class! The thing to note is that if you want to learn to play 80% of Christian worship music, usually the beginner class is not sufficient, so I went on to sign up for 2 more terms!

I had a great deal of interest to learn acoustic guitar since childhood, but never seem to find enough motivation nor time to pursue it. I came upon Believer Music, and it was God sent; I truly felt the prompting of the spirit to take on the journey since 1+ years ago. While I have a demanding job combined with overseas travels, I look forward to the class and also for a deeper comprehension of the scripture. Who should sign up for this module? Am I eligible for signup?
You are eligible for this module if you have:
i) Successfully completed the WDI module OR
ii) 2 years guitar playing experience in cell or church for at least 2 years. You must also be able to change chords smoothly and possess a firm strumming rhythm.
*Should you have prior playing experience, use the Online Course Allocator to identify the module most suitable for you.
NOTE: Should Believer Music Coaches find any student mismatched in any particular module, we reserve the right to transfer the student to another class after the first session to optimize the learning experience.
How different is WDII compared to WDI?
We have made many enhancements to the previously-known Worship Dynamics module. This new module will take on a groundbreaking concept - devotion-based rather than being centered upon learning mere technique and song. You will qualify for WDII if you have attended Worship Dynamics. You may however, choose to attend this new module as it touches on essential foundations to build stronger musicianship within you.
How will these 2 months benefit me as a guitarist?
At the end of the module, you would have gained:
i) Firm control and mastery of all rhythms taught in Beginner module (RHYTHM Orientation).
ii) New understanding on the power of chord progressions in songs and spontaneous praise (HARMONY Orientation).
